The 113th China Daily-use Articles Trade Fair (hereinafter referred to as the CDATF), which has attracted much attention from the household and department store industry, kicked off on 25 July at the Shanghai New International Expo Centre. As a mid-year event showcasing the industry's cutting-edge products and technological solutions, this year's fair ignited the entire household department store market once it was held. Novelty department store gathering, nine theme exhibition area to lead the industry trend

On the first day of the fair, the nine thematic exhibition areas were newly unveiled to give the audience a fresh look, and many special department stores and novelty exhibits were unveiled for the first time for the audience to marvel at. On the second day, the rich thematic forums of the CDATF continued to advance, and the much-anticipated "Empowering Department Store Ecology, Helping Consumption Upgrade" thematic summit was held in the morning. The organisers invited Ren Xingzhou, former director of the Institute of Market Economics of the Development Research Centre of the State Council, researcher and doctoral supervisor; Liang Mei, president of the China Toys and Baby Products Association; Chen Wenhua, deputy director of Nielsen China Retail Research; Jessica Gleeson, CEO of BikeMed; Li Haifeng, deputy general manager of the New World Daimaru Department Store in Shanghai; Liu Changxin, chief consultant of the Beijing Yibaiyi Technology Co. Ltd, Liu Changxin, Yang Qingsong, Secretary General of China Department Store Business Association and other experts and scholars delivered speeches on hot areas such as new retail, IP licensing, big data, changes in the consumer environment, and the sharing of marketing models to discuss the development of the department store industry.
